Digital Me
Digital Me is an interactive experience that I co-created in 2015 with Helios Design Labs for BBC Taster.
It is an experiment in personalised, interactive storytelling, that draws on people’s interaction with social media platforms to start a conversation about their online behaviour and how that reflects on them as individuals.
Digital Me creates a live dialogue between the users and their digital persona by using their social media content. It then allows them to check how aligned their physical and digital persona are and asks them to reflect on their new hybrid presence.
Watch the presentation of the Digital Me project at i-Docs 2016. Here the whole team covers most aspects of the production process: from the initial idea, the prototypes and the coding challenges to the lessons learned and the BBC feed-back.
